About MiBird

MiBird is a bird app that is designed to enrich your birdwatching experience in Southern Africa. By using data from existing sightings across the region, it is able to help you locate new species, find them, log them, attach photos to them, share them and complete your Birdwatching journey.

MiBird is powered by the South African Bird Atlas Project 2 data which are used to compare with your own data to help find bird species you are missing - or possibly logged incorrectly!

The ultimate goal of MiBird is to increase awareness of Southern Africa's birdlife and ultimately drive conservation through public engagement to help protect the birds and the natural areas that they live in. With all the problems in the world, the birds need all the help they can get!
